Excellent jobs in Turkey
Turkey is situated in the ideal location to be considered an
East-West meeting point. It was the birthplace of the Greek
civilisation and the origin of the mighty Ottoman Empire which
survived for nearly 500 years and stretched from the Danube to the
Persian Gulf. Modern Turkey has a large number of historical
sights which rival anything the rest of the world has to offer. It
is also right up to date in terms of modern, first class holiday
resorts, superb beaches, winter and summer sports and trekking and
mountaineering activities.
Turkey has a rich and varied culture. The teeming bazaars sell
everything from junk to treasures; from spices to designer clothing
and bargains that can be found include carpets, jewellery and
leather goods. This contrasts with the ever-increasing number of
supermarkets and the thriving, glamorous nightlife in the
larger cities.
There is evidence in plenty of the Greek, Roman, Byzantine and
Ottoman Empires. Many sites of historical significance are spread
over the whole of Turkey. The country is steeped in history and many
examples of this can be viewed first-hand.
The many resorts in Turkey provide the ideal opportunity to
experience the modern side of a thriving tourist industry.
First-class hotels providing first class international cuisine and superb
facilities allow the visitor to enjoy the hot, sunny climate while
soaking up the warm, friendly atmosphere and fantastic
scenery.
The scenery is breathtaking. From the imposing peak of Mount
Ararat to the lush, fertile plains to the Aegean and Mediterranean
coasts, the visitor is constantly surprised and delighted by the
multitude of different sights.
TEFLstop's sister site, INTESOL, in partnership with The American
Cultural Association (AKD) has established INTESOL Turkey in AKD's
branches in Istanbul and Antalya. This partnership offers EFL
teachers the opportunity to obtain a teaching post in one of AKD's
many language schools throughout Turkey. With over 30 branches, AKD
is the largest and most prestigious chain of language schools in
Turkey and its ongoing expansion is certain to increase its
presence.
