There are so many different course providers telling me different things that looking for a course seems like stepping into a minefield! How do I know who is giving me valid information? Also, how do I know that, once I have parted with my money, I will receive the course materials and an efficient service?
Solution
Make sure the course provider is accredited. There is a body which was originally set up by the government to ensure quality in distance learning. This body, now independent, is the Open and Distance Learning Quality Council (ODLQC). Visit their website at www.odlqc.org.uk and make sure the course provider is accredited, you will then be sure of a guarantee of service and quality.
